Born in New York, David played the violin until he stopped. He then played bass. He formed the band Checkerboard Charlie, strong-armed Runna Muck, hung on with Lynch, ran around half-naked with the Orange, got smooth with Sutra, and currently makes up strange song titles for War Pigeon.

With performance experiences ranging from concert halls to pizza parlors, bowling alleys to restrooms- he has found that acclaim is an elusive temptress best left hidden. He is available for bar mitzvahs, christenings, interventions, and barn-raisings.
