Deep Deep Breath

Sunday driving looking out for Granny Smith
Frustrated, I’ve been, getting through this labyrinth
I know I should be patient and
Not stereo-typing the slow Asian
But I’ll simply take a deep deep breath

What a lot of traffic, everyone’s been weekend bound
Some are causing havoc, but now what is that squealing sound?
I’ll get there ‘less I get cut off
I swear! Next I’ll get run off
But I’ll simply take a deep deep breath

In the rain they cower
The puddles are so scary
Must a lane change take an hour?
But Oh NO! I must go slow
I’m out of control, I’m overloaded so, oh…

Hello jalopy, you think you’re in a rodeo
Cell phones and coffee, did you know that green means go?
I know I should be patient
But your driving skills? A bit latent!
But I’ll simply take a deep deep breath

There are days I take it hard like this
But other days I don’t care in the slightest
Where I’ll simply take a deep deep breath
I simply take a deep deep breath
