Life’s not as dangerous as it used to be
The charges of modernity
But what do I have but a much bigger plate
And an appetite that’s equal to sate
Life blows in a cold wind till we’re raw
A light will someday shine over us all
Dreams stand by while reality sits
And it tramples as hard as it hits
We’ve come so far but to I don’t know where
We’ve got nothing but heartache to spare
It goes on and on and on…
A little white castle surrounded by woods
Think Lancelot or Robin Hood
But there are no more Marians or Gueneveres or
Heroes to save them from catastrophe
Maybe the last words in storybooks say
That happiness just outweighs the pain
